What Artistic Reviewers Do
Artistic evaluators experience the arts firsthand by attending in-person events or viewing online activities presented by organizations seeking state funding.
- Evaluate: Review up to 10 artistic experiences.
- Assess: Complete a short questionnaire after each event detailing your impressions.
- Impact: Your feedback directly informs the Operating Support panels as they evaluate the quality of applicant activities.
Time Commitment & Flexibility
- Flexible Schedule: You work directly with the organizations to decide which events to attend based on your availability.
- Paced Assignment: You will start with 2 to 3 evaluations, and then receive additional organization assignments as you go.
- Timeline: Most of the evaluations take place between mid-February and May 1st.
