The Southwest Minnesota Arts Council (SMAC) respects the privacy of its members, grant applicants, and visitors, and is committed to protecting any personal and organizational information that is shared with us.
Information Collection and Use
SMAC is required to report grantee information gathered from grant applications to the State of Minnesota. This data is maintained by the Minnesota State Arts Board in cooperation with the Regional Arts Councils, and may be distributed to others in accordance with the Minnesota Data Practices Act. When we do need other personal or organizational information to provide services that you request either via telephone, mail, or the Internet, or when you choose to provide us with your information, it is our policy not to share or sell your personal information with other individuals, businesses, companies, organizations, or foundations.
Choice to Opt Out
SMAC provides all individuals and organizations the opportunity to opt out of having their information used for certain purposes by clicking “SafeUnsubscribe” at the bottom of the email they received, or by contacting us at 800-622-5284 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
SMAC takes photographs during public events, solicits photographs of projects from our grantees, and occasionally selects quality photos for distribution via this website, social media, or other means. If you are included in a photograph and would prefer that it not be distributed, please contact SMAC at 800-622-5284 or email@example.com and let us know which photo and where it was located. We will do our best to remove it from circulation.
