August 7, 7 pm, Danube Historical Society: Concerts in the Park, Mueller Park Bandstand by the Depot Museum (Rain location is the Bob Bruggers Auditorium at the Danube school building), Danube. Outdoor musical concerts with various artists for community enjoyment. Featured for this concert is the Kingery family, a musical family with singing and instruments. Contact: 320-829-2236.

Saturday August 11, Riverside Market & Muse, Foot bridge & downtown plaza, 807 Prentice St, Granite Falls. On the second Saturday of the month from May to September,vendors set up along the downtown plazas in Granite Falls and each event features an art project and musical or other performance. August 11-12, Pipestone Civil War Days, Pipestone. A two day event, the Civil War Days provide an opportunity for visitors to interact with period musicians, actors, and educators. It is a medium for today’s artists who have re-created the art of the past, to be inspired in the present. Some of the many elements involved are actors, musicians, photographers, tin smiths, authors, fiber arts, a wood sculptor, dance, costumes, theater, photography and other artistic programs allowing visitors to view, hear or experience Pipestone Civil War Days.
