Welcoming Week Sept. 10-19 is an opportunity to celebrate the values that unite us as neighbors, parents, and colleagues, and to make our communities more welcoming to all those who call southwest Minnesota home.
Through Welcoming Week, organizations and communities bring together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity.
This year, SMAC will be a regional partner of Welcoming Week and help to promote and support the 11 communities that will be holding events: Montevideo, Granite Falls, Willmar, Hutchinson, Glencoe, Kerkhoven, Worthington, Windom, Milan, Lower Sioux Indian Community/Morton and Marshall.
