Laura Deleski

I am continually inspired by what I see. Life is full of color - sometimes bold, sometimes subtle - and I love to share it with people. I am a visual artist and work with several mediums including, but not limited to quilting, photography, traditional and digital scrapbooking, sashiko and locker hooking. My work has a cheerful energy with a bright, colorful palette and often uses balanced geometric designs. I have a strong passion for quilting, using both traditional piecing and modern quilting styles. My photographs capture the natural beauty around me - flowers, trees and earthly textures are frequent subjects. I want to stir a sense of excitement and joy with my art, and delight the eyes of those who view it. I was a recipient of an Individual Artist Grant for Emerging Artists in 2021.
