2021 Artist Grant Applications are NOW OPEN!Forecast is excited to accept grant applications from Minnesota-based individual early- and mid-career artists looking to advance their work in public art. They seek to fund a diverse group of artists working in all career stages and a range of public art practices and media and place particular emphasis on supporting and amplifying the artistic work of BIPOC and Native artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, womxn artists, immigrant artists, and artists from rural communities.

Your safety and the safety of your community is a priority.
Please refer to the 
current COVID-19 guidelines from the state of Minnesota when crafting your proposal. If you have questions about how the pandemic might affect your application, please contact Forecast.

PUBLIC ART OPPORTUNITY!
Forecast is facilitating a call for two artists/teams to submit qualifications to design and create two murals on a new mixed-use development in south Minneapolis. Applicants must be experienced visual artists, muralists, illustrators or teams connected to at least one of the adjacent communities. Early career artists are encouraged.
Apply by 4:00 PM CDT, September 1, 2020.

Forecast is thrilled to have helped the CEZ find qualified artists and muralists to create more public art in this creative hub for their 2020 CEZ Summer Mural Project, during the Chroma Zone festival hiatus. TOOLKIT FOR

In April, FORECAST launched a toolkit with strategies for adapting in-person arts-based activities during the pandemic. They continue to develop it based on open-source input from you and examples of how you are adapting your in-person arts-based projects.
