Updates from COMPAS for the arts

COMPAS Teaching Artists will participate in Shine On MN to raise funds for food banks, restaurants, and artists.
Your Daily Dose of Creativity
Want to see some of your favorite artists together in one place benefiting the greater Minnesota community? This coming Sunday, May 10th at 7pm, join several of our COMPAS Teaching Artists along with other artists and celebrities from around the state to raise money for food banks, restaurants, and artists affected by COVID-19. Shine On MN is a special, star-studded event produced by FOX 9 and MPR, and we hope you’ll join us to support this important work!

Bonus Activity!
MPR’s The Current has been connecting Minnesotans to fantastic music for over a decade, and radio personalities Cathy Wurzer and Jill Riley will be two of the hosts for Shine On MN this coming Sunday. However, did you also know that The Current posts daily lists of virtual concerts you can attend from the comfort of your own home? Check out their Virtual Gig List for a bunch of upcoming livestream concerts from musicians such as Ben Folds and Phoebe Bridgers.
