Announces New Potters
The Clay Coyote Gallery and Pottery, an emerging artists incubator in central Minnesota, announced the first two studio potters to start September 1, 2016. Ms. Katharine (Katie) Teesdale, originally of Glen Ellyn, Illinois and Mr. Levi Yankosky of southeastern Minnesota.
Katie and Levi’s work will be available for purchase in the Clay Coyote Gallery and online at www.claycoyote.com starting in September. They will be in the Studio most days and look forward to showing customers around the new space.
About the program: The Clay Coyote is a small business incubator for emerging ceramic artists in central Minnesota. Differentiating from traditional post-graduate residencies or technical apprentice positions, the Clay Coyote program is designed to help emerging artists launch their small businesses. The program includes hands-on pricing, marketing, and financial mentoring. The new studio offers three distinct spaces for private work, along with collaborative spaces for detailing, glazing, and firing. Together, the Emerging Artists and the Clay Coyote team collaborate to grow the next generation of Minnesota potters. There is still one space remaining for a third emerging artist.
