Arts & Economic Impact Survey

Posted by

Prairie WindsMinnesota Citizens for the Arts (MCA) and the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council (SMAC) request your participation in Arts & Economic Prosperity—an important study to measure the economic impact of the arts and culture both on our state’s economy and on your local region.

Imagine having hard numbers at your fingertips that demonstrate the importance of the arts and culture to your local economy, and to Minnesota’s statewide economy!  The project will produce economic impact studies for each of the state’s eleven RAC regions as well as a statewide study measuring the economic impact of arts and cultural organizations and their audiences in Minnesota as a whole.

The data collected from organizations such as yours will help support the case for increased public and private sector arts and culture funding in Minnesota and will generate significant statewide and local visibility for the arts and culture.

TO PARTICIPATE:
Please complete a simple, short survey (by June 30, 2014) that requests information about your organization’s budget that ended during 2012.  Your organization’s data will be kept strictly confidential.  The more organizations that complete the survey, the larger the economic impact figures for the arts and culture will be!
