Presenting SMAC’s FY24-25 Biennial programming and strategic focus

The Southwest Minnesota Arts Council, (SMAC) as the state’s designated regional arts council serving the following MN counties: Big Stone , Chippewa, Cottonwood • Jackson • Kandiyohi • Lac qui Parle • Lincoln • Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Renville, Rock, Swift, and Yellow Medicine, will present their draft two-year plan for grant programs, priorities and services to be delivered in fiscal years 24-25 beginning July 1, 2023.

Join us to learn how SMAC plans to invest the arts funding entrusted to us and the way in which it returns to your communities through our needs driven programming.

A preview of the Biennial Plan Draft was available for March 20th through March 27, 2023, where a comment opportunity was provided. Constituents were invited to respond through the website link, by phone, mail, or during the live presentation on March 27.

A public meeting will took place on Tuesday, March 27 via Zoom at 7 pm central time.
