Prairie Arts Continuum seeks scholarship applicants
WINDOM — Applicants are being sought for Prairie Arts Continuum (PAC) scholarships to be presented this spring.
PAC is a non-profit arts organization that serves the Windom area and neighboring communities in southwest Minnesota. It sponsors community theatre productions, sponsors arts events and provides scholarships for young people to participate in various school and community art programs.
Eligible applicants must currently reside in the Windom, Heron Lake-Okabena, Jackson County Central, Mountain Lake or Red Rock Central school districts, or have graduated from one of these school districts (including home schools) and be enrolled in a college or technical school majoring in one of the arts.
PAC’s application forms can be obtained by contacting PAC Treasurer Cheryl Hanson at (507) 831-5880. They have also been distributed to counselors at the participating schools, as well as other locations including Windom’s Business, Arts & Recreation Center and the Windom Area Chamber of Commerce.
Completed applications must be postmarked no later than April 13 and mailed to Prairie Arts Continuum, P.O. Box 6, Windom 56101.
