Hidden Nature

Jessica Bak, a professional Windom photographer and social media specialist at Cottonwood county historical society, hails from a small town of Bedford, KY. Bak attended Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Visual Media, a combination of graphic design and photography. She then continued studies to receive a masters degree in business, focusing on marketing and art gallery management. She moved to Windom, MN and started a photography business in the summer of 2013.

“Hidden Nature” Photography Showcase
Jessica Bak received an individual artist grant in 2017 to capture and present this showcase. Jessica said, “My hope is that you will experience nature through my eyes. My photographs portray the beauty that surrounds us but is often taken for granted. We simply forget to stop, look around, and
say ‘Breathtaking!’ Take a moment to breathe and absorb the sighting around you. This is my passion; one that I would like to share with the world. There are so many unique moments that can be captured in nature. So come, take a journey through the nature, and find the beauty in these photographs. I hope someday you will find your own journey!”

Sales of artwork can be coordinated by contacting SMAC Staff at by email: info@swmnarts.org. SMAC does not take any commission on artwork in the gallery; 100% of the sales always go to our artists.
