As I explore the vast intersection of food and culture using vibrant images captured in places ranging from the fish markets of Lithuania to pizza shops in Sweden to the midway of the county fair, my goal is to foster awareness of the natural beauty found in the food around us. As you take in my images and essays, I encourage you to think about the food surrounding you. Think of its color and character, the way it looks on the plate, how it makes you feel, and what stories you would add to your own culinary biography.”
