Willmar Main Street is excited to share about a new partnership they’re embarking on with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota:
They are looking for local artists + creatives to help them create 
public art pieces [ one sculpture + one mural ] in downtown Willmar — both with a mission to bring to life Willmar’s Welcoming Resolution.
The welcoming resolution
: all residents without regard to age, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, religion or country of origin should be free to pursue life, liberty and happiness.
Anyone with some creative ideas for how their art can embody this resolution should consider applying. Both of these projects are parting gifts of the BCBS Healthy Together Initiative. The creators will be celebrated with an unveiling at Willmar Fest 2021
