Arts Mentoring Project is offer an October vocal study of the music from the hit movie-musical “The Greatest Showman”. This project is produced by AMP Executive Director, Reggie Gorter, and by Jenn Sheldon.
Students will explore vocal techniques through the music from the movie-musical “The Greatest Showman” and will be introduced to a reasonable amount of basic movement and stage blocking on selected pieces. Solos and ensemble parts are available.

There will be two sections offered: 2nd through 6th Grade and 7th through 12th Grade.
2nd-6th grade will rehearse on Tuesdays October 8, 15, 22, 29 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. 7th-12th grade will rehearse on Tuesdays & Thursdays October 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. (Sections & rehearsals subject to change based on numbers.)
Concert performance will be on Saturday evening, November 9th in Pipestone at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center at 7 pm, with another tentative performance in Jasper.
Rehearsals take place at the Quartziter Community Center in Jasper, MN. School bussing availability to Jasper with possible car pooling opportunities.
This project is free to participants, however donations are welcome.
