Artists Working in Community Workshops

Since the Handbook for Artists Working in Community was launched in August 2020, it has been downloaded over 2,000 times by artists and leaders around the country. We’re excited that it’s had such a great reception and that it’s being put into practice!

On Saturday, January 9, join Springboard staff for Work of Art+: Artists Collaborating with Community, a workshop to introduce you to methods to clarify your own goals, techniques to ensure successful outcomes for you and your community collaborators, and how to reach out to community organizations and businesses to expand your artistic practice and income sources. Presented in partnership with Hennepin County Library.

Then, on Tuesday February 2, join Jun-Li Wang, Springboard’s Associate Director, Programs, in conversation about the Handbook. Get highlights of the work, and get your questions answered about using it!
