Minnesota Percent for Art in Public Places: Current Opportunities

The Minnesota State Arts Board, on behalf of the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf, requests proposals from working, professional artists or artist-led teams for permanent, site-specific public artwork at Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf – Frechette Hall.

Who is eligible?
Working, professional artists residing in the United States are eligible to apply. Artists must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Preference will be given to artists who are Deaf, hard of hearing, signers, late-deafened, deaf-blind, seeing, or CODA.

What is the budget?
An all-inclusive budget of $66,000 is available for this project. There is a $2,000 finalist design fee.

When is the application deadline?
Applications are due via CaFÉ™ no later than 11:59 P.M. (MT), Thursday, June 8, 2017.
