MANKATO – The Minnesota Shorts Play Festival is accepting short play scripts from Jan. 1 to March 1 (2019) for its upcoming 11th Annual festival this fall.

The short play festival features seven of the best short plays from Minnesota writers and seven of the best short plays from around the Midwest and Merely Players performs the shows Sept. 5-6 in Mankato.

Short plays must be 10 pages or less and should be emailed as a pdf with the writer’s name and contact information on the title page only. Plays can be emailed to mnshorts@yahoo.com. Judges will read the scripts in the blind and choose the 7 Minnesota scripts to be performed this fall. Minnesota playwrights can submit up to TWO short plays for the festival.
