Minnesota State Arts Board Workshop to be held in Worthington

msab_logo_smallThe Minnesota State Arts Board is hosting a statewide series of evaluation workshops this fall. You are invited to attend a one day learning experience. On Friday November 11th the workshop will be within SMAC’s 18 county region in Worthington, MN. The workshops will take place in a total of eleven cities around Minnesota; all eleven workshops will share the same information. Some of the other cities our region might be interested in are St. Joseph on October 31st, Fergus Falls on November 3rd, and New Ulm on November 10th.

The St. Joseph, Fergus Falls, New Ulm, and Worthington workshops will all take place from 10am-3pm (with a one hour lunch break). Locations are as follows:

  • St. Joseph: College of St. Benedict’s Gorecki Center, 37 College Ave S, St Joseph
  • Fergus Falls: West Central Initiative, 1000 Western Ave, Fergus Falls
  • New Ulm: New Ulm Public Library, 17 N Broadway St, New Ulm
  • Worthington: Minnesota West Community and Technical College in room 113 (the center building), located at 1450 College Way.

There will be no fee to attend, but participants will be responsible for their own travel costs and lunches. The workshop will explore evaluation methods, ways of incorporating evaluation work into your existing practice, and information about Minnesota State Arts Board work relating to evaluation. The workshop is open to all, though some of the content will be tailored to current or future applicants and grantees of Arts Board programs.
