City of Madison, MN Artist Request for Qualifications
The City of Madison seeks mural artists to submit qualifications for consideration in the mural project for the wall on the south side of Grand Park. Artist must demonstrate their ability to design and successfully execute large-scale exterior, wall-based work. The Park is an age friendly gathering space for music, relaxation and recreation. We want to celebrate the diversity in our community and the long history of agriculture as a way of life. This project is contingent on receiving a Legacy Grant.

The Madison Arts Council will narrow the selection to three applicants. Those three applicants will each receive a stipend of $500 to complete a mockup of their design that will enhance Grand Park in downtown Madison. The design and project budget is due October 12th so that the grant application can be completed and submitted. If grant is awarded, the work would begin in the Spring of 2023.
