The Edward J. & Helen Jane Morrison Gallery at the University of Minnesota Morris is pleased to announce a call for entries for a summer exhibition, POP < 5000.
The exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Rural Arts and Culture Summit hosted by Springboard for the Arts and the Center for Small Towns at the University of Minnesota, Morris, June 2-4, 2015. The exhibit seeks submissions from contemporary artists who currently reside in Minnesota communities with populations, less than or equal to 5000 residents. The exhibit will survey artists working in a range of mediums and subject matter. The exhibit will be held at the Edward J. and Helen Jane Morrison Gallery on the University of Minnesota, Morris campus, June 2 – June 30, 2015. Artists, photographers, designers, and craftspeople regardless of age, sex, and occupation are encouraged to submit. There is no entry fee.
The Exhibition will open June 2, 2015 from 6:30-9:30pm, in conjunction with the welcome reception for the Rural Arts and Cultural Summit.
