Made Here, a project of Hennepin Theatre Trust, is accepting artists’ submissions for its upcoming winter 2017/2018 Showcase exhibition! Each selected Made Here artist will receive $500, professional installation support, networking opportunities and more.
Made Here temporarily fills empty storefronts and commercial spaces that are in transition with art by local artists, turning the WeDo™ MPLS Cultural District into a walkable urban art gallery.
For this round, we invite artists and artist groups to submit proposals for window Showcase displays that interpret the word “energy.” Open to your creativity, your installation might be an exploration of the forces that inspire you, thoughts on what powers our world or a display about what drives your creative practice.
