Submissions are wanted for the Art in the Hollow Sculpture Contest in Swede Hollow Park, St Paul on Saturday, June 7, 2014.  Works should be designed in relation to specific settings within Swede Hollow Park that show enhancement of the natural setting, quality of design, originality.  This is a populist effort to engage the public in creating and judging public art. Anyone can apply.

Judging will be blind, and final decisions made by a People’s Panel and votes by the public on the day of the festival.  Prizes: 1st Place: $300, 2nd Place: $200, 3rd Place: $100.   If selected, you will erect your sculpture for the 5th Annual Art in the Hollow event before it starts, keep it up from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, June 7, 2014 and agree to take it down by midnight that night.

You may enter as many concepts as you wish:  $10 per entry. Your concept may be communicated with drawings, PDF’s, jpeg’s, or photos of original, existing or planned three-dimensional works conceived in harmony with a site in Swede Hollow Park.  You must be a Minnesota resident, no age limits.
