Are you interested in working with Americans for the Arts to inform and guide the programs and services they provide to the field? Have a colleague in the arts and culture field who is doing amazing work or is a passionate advocate? You are invited to nominate yourself or a colleague for one of Americans for the Arts’ Advisory Councils!  
Americans for the Arts invites arts professionals from across the country to submit nominations for the 2021/2022 advisory council members. Advisory Council members are uniquely positioned to connect with their peers and Americans for the Arts staff to provide insight into trends that are relevant to today’s arts practitioners.
Joining the Advisory Councils 
Advisory Council Members advise Americans for the Arts staff on programming and services in order to build a deeper connection to our members and the arts and culture field as a whole.

Submit a Nomination

Nominations close Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM ET and can be submitted by filling out the nomination formMembers and non-members are welcome to submit nominations or be nominated. If elected to an advisory council, non-members will need to become members before the start of their term.
All nominations will be reviewed for the ballot by current Advisory Council members. Incoming Advisory Council members for the 2021-2022 term will be established by a popular vote by Americans for the Arts members in November.
