Have a breakout session ready to be shared?

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) is looking for breakout sessions proposals for the 2021 MCN Annual Conference, to be held virtually in October. This year, they’ll look at how the last year-plus has changed us and where we need to continue using our imagination to move the non-profit sector (and missions) forward.

Six things to keep in mind as you consider submitting a session proposal?

  1. The MCN Annual Conference represents one of the year’s largest gatherings of nonprofit professionals from across Minnesota.
  2. Presenters of every experience level, work focus, and nonprofit activity are encouraged to submit.
  3. The virtual format not only makes the conference more accessible to nonprofits from every corner of Minnesota, but allows you to present your session from wherever you are.
  4. MCN is seeking presenters who reflect the racial, gender, economic, cultural, age, and geographic diversity of our sector and the communities we serve.
  5. In addition to complimentary conference admission, presenters will receive a stipend of $150, with a limit of $300 per session.
  6. Even if your proposal is not selected, MCN will recognize your time with a voucher for a 2022 MCN event of your choice.
Submit a Session Proposal!
Submissions are due by Friday, July 2 at 11 p.m. CST. If you have any questions about the MCN Annual Conference or submitting a session proposal, please don’t hesitate to let MCN know: jwurm@minnesotanonprofits.org
