The Minnesota State Arts Board has posted grant program guidelines and application forms for the FY 2023 Creative Support for Organizations grant program. The program offers flexible support for Minnesota arts organizations, and for non-arts organizations that regularly offer arts programming as an integral part of their missions.
The coronavirus pandemic has brought about profound changes for organizations that provide arts programming. While there are promising signs on the horizon that the pandemic may be subsiding, it has taken a serious toll on Minnesota’s arts and cultural sector. Creative Support grants are designed to be flexible and allow for adaptability in response to unexpected changes during the grant period. Applicants will be asked to align their activities with one of three program outcomes that address the intent of the legacy amendment: arts and arts access, arts education, and arts and cultural heritage.
There will be two application deadlines―one on May 27, 2022, and another on September 9, 2022.
This is a statewide program. Organizations that meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Program Overview and Application Instructions are welcome to apply.
