Minnesota State Arts Board FY 2020 Operating Support

Eligible Minnesota arts organizations and arts affiliates that would like to submit FY 2020 Operating Support applications may begin doing so. To access the program overview and application instructions, visit the Operating Support program page on the Arts Board Web site.

The deadline to submit applications is Friday, January 18, 2019. All applications must be submitted and accepted before 4:30 p.m. on the day of the deadline.

New for fiscal year 2020

Applicants will be asked to provide more detailed demographic information about the audiences/participants they serve, and about their board and staff members.  In addition, applicants will be asked to report on the number of volunteers who contribute time to their organization and its activities, and the number of individuals who make financial contributions.

The Operating Support grant program uses a four-year grant cycle. Some applicants are required to submit full applications; some applicants are required to submit interim applications. The requirements for full and interim applications are different; current grantees should refer to the list of FY 2019 grantees to ensure they submit the correct application.

The Arts Board uses WebGrants, an online grants management system, for all applications. Everyone wanting to apply for a grant must be a registered user. To register, new users may visit the Arts Board Web site. Scroll down the home page to WebGrants instructions and registration information.
