The Arts Board is now taking applications for the fiscal year 2023 Creative Support for Individuals grant program. The next deadline for this program is before 4:30 p.m. on July 15th (for activities that take place March 2023 – February 2024).
The grant range this year is $2,000 – $10,000. While similar to last year’s Creative Support for Individuals program, the criteria and narrative questions have changed. We recommend reading the entire Program Overview and Application Instructions before beginning your application. Narrative prompts are found at the top of page 9:

Are current grantees eligible?
There have been some questions regarding whether FY2022 grantees with current projects underway would be eligible to apply. The answer is yes, FY2022 grantees are eligible to apply. All previous grantees, please make sure you have complied with all reporting requirements to be eligible for future grants.
To sustain efforts toward building equity in the funding process, applicants who live in greater Minnesota (any county outside the seven-county Metro area) are one of several priority groups in this program. See page 4 of the Program Overview for more information about Creative Support funding priorities
