Cultural Heritage Grants: Call for Panelists
The Minnesota Humanities Center is seeking Minnesota-based grant reviewers who understand the depth and breadth of the lived experiences of the legislatively named cultural groups and individuals (Asian and Pacific Island communities, Somali diaspora and other African immigrant communities, Indigenous communities with a focus on the 11 Tribes in MN, African American community, Latinx community, and other underrepresented cultural groups, including communities of Black, Indigenous, and people of color) working to create, celebrate, and teach the art, culture, and heritage of diverse Minnesota communities.
Time-line:
-May-August 2022:
- Panel Training
- Review and assess eligible applications
- Conduct applicant interviews
- Meet virtually to make funding recommendations
Compensation range of $250-750 based on participation.
Panelist names will be shared at the conclusion of the selection process.
