2017 Categories:
Beautiful Silhouette: Shoot images that beautifully cast shadows or silhouettes. The shadow or silhouette should be a main part of the subject, not just something that is unavoidably seen in the photograph. Being very aware of the location of your light source will be your friend on this theme.
Get Out of Marshall: This is a travel photography. Share your exotic travels, as well as scenes closer to home. In either case, these pictures are of places outside of Lyon County. They could be scenes, people, or events you’ve encountered in your travels.
Registration and entry fees are due by Friday, June 20, 2017 by 4 pm or postmarked no later than June 30. Mail or deliver them to MAFAC at 109 N 3rd ST, PO Box 531, Marshall, MN. Must be 14 years of age or older to enter.

People’s choice voting is from July 11-August 16. Awards presentation on Thursday, August 17 from 5-6:30 pm. Participants and the public are invited.
