Join us for our Lac qui Parle County Arty Party

JOIN US for an “Arty Party” in Lac qui Parl County: Friday, March 11 from 6-8 pm (please note the time change)!

YOU are invited to network with artists and arts supporters in the Lac qui Parl County area! This event will take place at The Madison Mercantile: https://www.madisonmercantile.com/, address 601 1st Street, Madison, MN 56256.

Enjoy music from Charlie Roth (https://charlierothmusic.com/) and his brother David, who lives in town. “The Crazy Apron Ladies” will be catering! They are a group from Bellingham who will be doing finger foods. The Madison Chamber of Commerce will attend and do a ribbon cutting for the Madison Art Gallery. The Madison Mercantile will provide a cash bar for the event.

BONUS: 

The Madison Mercantile will be doing extra events this night as well to celebrate the official opening of their gallery. Here is the full schedule for those interested:

  • 5:30: Chamber will cut the ribbon on the gallery and then will stay for their “Chamber After Hours” party in conjunction with Arty Party. There will be a food truck parked outside (Papa D’s from Dawson) for burgers and fries.
  • 6:00 – 8:00: Casual “Arty Party” with finger foods provided by “The Crazy Apron Ladies” from Bellingham. Charlie Roth playing background during this window.
  • 8:00-10:00: Charlie will play a set

This is our 7th Arty Party for Southwest Minnesota Arts Council. We doing one a month and are having one in every county we serve, so there is a total of 18! These are just casual networking events to meet and discuss the arts with like-minded people. SMAC staff will be available to connect with attendees and get the word out about who SMAC is, what we do, and what services and assistance we can offer for our communities.
