Art Project Grants provide organizations in the SMAC region with up to $7,000 in matching funds to stimulate and encourage the creation, performance and appreciation of the arts (pre-packaged theater residencies limited to $2,500). 20% cash match requiredNext application deadline: December 12, 2018.

Art Legacy Project Grants Grants provide organizations in the SMAC region with up to $25,000 in matching funds to stimulate and encourage the creation, performance and appreciation of the arts through large-scale projects that will leave an arts legacy in southwest Minnesota. 20% cash match required. Next application deadline: December 12, 2018.

Arts in the Schools Grant Webinar

Join SW MN Arts Council online for a grant workshop webinar on Thursday, December 13 from 5:30-6:30 pm to learn about the guidelines, requirements, and application process for our Arts in the Schools grants

Arts in the Schools Grants are grants to schools for artist residencies or field trips that include educator training and community involvement, juried student art exhibits, and prepackaged theater experiences. Up to $2,500 (field trips, juried exhibits, or prepackaged theater), or $4,000 (artist residencies). 20% cash match for prepackaged theater only. Next application deadline: January 23, 2019 by 4:30 pm.

Art Study Opportunity for Youth Grants Webinar–Thursday, February 21, 2019

Art Study Opportunity for Youth Grants Provide up to $500 to allow young artists in grades 5 – 12 to attend an enrichment camp or specialty study. Standard weekly lessons (such as piano or voice lessons) are allowed only for those students who qualify for the federal free or reduced lunch program. No match requirements. Next application deadline: April 3, 2019.
