Schools

School grant programs provide funds to advance arts education in schools in the SMAC region through artist/teacher/community partnerships and to support the arts as essential to education and daily life.

School grants are made possible by the voters of Minnesota thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

FY 2023 Grant Calendar

Arts in the Schools Grants

Provides public schools with up to $4,000 for projects such as artist residencies, arts field trips, juried student art exhibits, etc. No cash match required.

COMPAS Roster of Artists
