“Beginning Grantwriting” Workshop in Marshall, MN

Posted by

Through Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, Joe Pederson will be coming to Marshall to host a grantwriting clinic for beginners.  Grantwriting is a useful skill that is required in many nonprofit positions. Many people who work in nonprofits find themselves in the position of “accidental grantwriter” and do not feel fully equipped for the challenge. This session is geared towards individuals that are brand new to grantwriting and have less than one year of experience.

In this workshop participants will have an opportunity to:

  • Learn about the basics of grantseeking and the types of foundations
  • Develop an understanding of the sections of a grant proposal
  • Clinic participants will receive a copy of the Handbook for Successful Grant Writing* that covers topics ranging from research and planning to a glossary of commonly used terms.

*The Handbook is only available to participants and is not otherwise for sale.

This session is geared towards people who are newer to the grantwriting field.

Time: 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM
