Pulling Stitches Contemporary Textile by Nicole Havekost

Exhibit* runs June 5 – July 7 at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts, 15 Franklin Street SW.

Reception for the artist: June 29 at 5:00 pm

Nicole Havekost lives in Rochester, Minnesota. Her work is varied in media and technique, but linked by an interest in material and process.

Recently, Nicole was a finalist for the 2016 Jerome Emerging Artist fellowship and she was a fiscal year 2013 recipient of an Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.

She has recently exhibited work in Florida, Washington state, Maryland and Tennessee, as well as internationally. Nicole earned her BFA in Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA in Printmaking from the University of New Mexico.
