Brad Hall | Granite Falls | Printmaking / Watercolor
Bradley Hall of Granite Falls will exhibit hand-painted linoleum block prints at the SMAHC Gallery from January 10 through March 1, 2013.
Brad is a watercolor artist living and working in a rehabbed 19th century church, which has been converted into his home and studio. He also carves linoleum blocks for hand printed, and hand painted, linoleum block prints. He received the majority of his artistic training at the American Academy of Art in Chicago.
Brad has been a member of the Meander Art Crawl since its inception in 2004. He was the first artist to exhibit on the Meander yearly poster. He has had numerous one-man shows in Chicago and Minnesota. He is currently working on framing his own artwork with recycled wood from dilapidated structures on his family’s farms.

Area Arts Council since 2010. Brad helped set up and coordinate exhibits, talent shows, and was instrumental in launching the Art Gallery at the KK Berge building in downtown Granite Falls. He currently helps manage the KK Berge Gallery in Granite Falls.
Some of his current inspirations are the local architecture, the river valley and the prairies. He explains, “I don’t think many people realize how beautiful this area is. I love to travel the country roads searching for a hidden valley, or a beautiful broken down old barn or shed. For a landscape artist like me, there is a lot of inspiration here.”
The public is invited to visit the SMAHC art gallery in downtown Marshall for a reception from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Regular Gallery hours are Mon - Fri, 8:00 am to noon and 1:00 - 4:30 pm.
