Please join the Worthington Area Symphony Orchestra for its spring concert entitled GLORIA! on Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:30 at Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center in Worthington. Three major works written by prominent composers from the Romantic and Contemporary music eras will be featured. Edward Elgar’s emotional Nimrod will capture the audience. A 30-member Community Chorus along with soprano soloist, Dr. Darci Bultema will join the orchestra in performing one of Francis Poulenc’s most celebrated, exciting works – Gloria! Felix Mendelssohn’s Reformation Symphony, famous for its reference to the familiar hymn, “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God”, will complete the concert. Plan to join the Worthington Area Symphony Orchestra as we celebrate the final days of the Easter season with GLORIA!
