JD Productions is proud to produce and present Moonglow, a heartfelt and visually stunning play that explores love, memory, and the passage of time. At the heart of the story is Maxine, a sharp-witted yet bitter woman struggling with Alzheimer’s, who resists moving into a nursing facility. But everything changes when she meets Joe, a widower who shares her passion for dance. Though they clash when lucid, their fragmented memories intertwine, leading to a tender and transformative romance. Their love is portrayed by two pairs of actors—an elderly couple and a young, vibrant duo—who bring to life the contrast between fleeting reality and cherished memories. As their relationship blossoms, they must confront their families’ concerns and the inevitable challenges of aging. Can their love endure despite the forces pulling them apart? This unique production features dreamlike transitions that blur the lines between past and present. Producer Sirovy is eager to explore immersive lighting and sound design to deepen the audience’s connection to the story, creating a visually rich and emotionally evocative experience.
