Event Details

Two Dia De Los Muertos Catrinas (one female and
one male) will be created and presented by artist Gustavo Boada, as a part of an annual Dia De Los Muertos celebration in Worthington, In between the annual celebrations, the Catrina statues will be on display at numerous
public buildings throughout the year, as well as appearing at events such as the International Festival.
The artist will do hands-on creative workshops at Memorial Auditorium which will
involve creating small scale Catrina artwork and there will be a puppet show created by Gustavo’s
Puppet Theater Company – Little Coyote Puppet Theater – on both Oct 26 & 27 at Memorial Auditorium
that will have a Catrina theme as a part of the Dia De Los Muertos Community Celebration.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
