CARE FOR, A Larger than Life Allegorical Tale

Written and directed by Nikki Bettcher Erickson
Have you ever experienced the May Day parade in Minneapolis? Have you ever been curious about multi-person-controlled large parade puppet structures? Perhaps not, but this is a great opportunity to see something completely out of the box! This performance mixes dance, movement, story, audience feedback and 8+ feet tall puppet structures to carry the tale.
Location: This giant puppet production will be performed at the Willmar Education and Arts Center on Saturday, July 15th directly after the 10am Childrens show production of Spotlight Workshop’s musical, The Princess and the Pea.

*Princess and the Pea has a $6.00 charge but individuals wanting to attend only the performance of Care For, which is of no cost, at 10am can be admitted right after Princess and the Pea is over.

This activity is made possible by a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council with funds from the McKnight Foundation

Planning ahead: Care For is free but if you wish to reserve a seat you can email Nikki Bettcher Erickson atnberickson22@gmail.com or text ticket requirements to 320-262-9170.

If you wish to attend the performance before Care For, The Princess and the Pea there is a $6.00 ticket fee.
