Ridgewater College Gallery (Willmar)

Building F, Upper Level, 2101 15th Avenue NW, Willmar October 3rd through November 2nd: Alexandra Beaumont presents a new exhibit in the Hutchinson Campus, titled “Version”. Beaumont, a textile artist, studied fashion design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY, and worked as a menswear designer before turning to fine art. Alexandra considers the visual, kinetic, and metaphoric elements of “parades of self”. She strives to feature intimate stories and totems of personal history; the pieces themselves becoming acts of reclamation, documentation, myth creation. The Ridgewater Fine art gallery is located near the Theatre in the Fine Art Building of the Willmar Campus. Open 8 to 5 Monday-Friday.  Parking is available for visitors nearby.
