Event Details

The Meander Upper Minnesota River Art Crawl is a tour of artists’ studios and galleries in Chippewa, Big Stone, Swift, Yellow Medicine, and Lac qui Parle counties. The three-day event involves the nine communities of Clinton, Ortonville, Appleton, Danvers, Madison, Milan, Dawson, Montevideo, and Granite Falls. “Meander” is an appropriate name for the event, since people who attend wander from studio to studio, and also through the landscape of the Minnesota River Valley. The Meander Art Crawl is a free self-guided tour of artist studios featuring over 40 local artists from the Upper Minnesota River Valley. Visitors are invited to visit artists in their own environment who celebrate a lifestyle that represents the small, handmade, personal and local culture of the area. This event has more than 30 individual studios.
