*Spicer: Music in Pirotta Park - Jeff James

Live concerts on Sundays in July and August, overlooking Green Lake in Pirotta Park, downtown Spicer.

July 26: Ruckus in the Bearbrush. Experience the enchanting sounds of Ruckus in the Bearbrush, a Minnesota based musical group specializing in Irish music. Utilizing a variety of Celtic instruments, they create a professional show that seamlessly blends traditional roots, modern ideas and original compositions. Emma Nistler, Adrian Ranier, and Paul Imholte each play a variety of instruments including whistles, flutes, guitar, hammered dulcimer and fiddle. The addition of Irish dancers, Emaliah Danner and Abby Young, enhance the performance.

August 2: Green Lake Bluegrass Band. Originally formed as a traditional bluegrass band, Green Lake Bluegrass Band has expanded its repertoire to include American folk music, Irish and Scandinavian dance tunes, ragtime, country music, and original compositions written by Dave Eliason. Local musicians include Bob Whitney, Jerry Saetveit, Nick Larson, Wendell Nash, and Dave Eliason.

August 9: Jeff James. A modern one-man band who brings the energy and variety of a full group to the stage. Using cutting-edge looping gear, guitar, harmonica, drums, bass guitar, and vocals, Jeff builds each song live, right in front of the audience.
