Pioneer PBS, in partnership with the Milan Village Arts School, will be hosting an in person AND virtual event to celebrate Scandinavian American artists and their art on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from noon to 4 p.m. (CST) at the Greater Milan Initiative building (the former Milan High School) in Milan. Join Pioneer PBS and fellow Milan Village Arts School supporters for a workshop with Pieper Bloomquist and for a preview screening and engaging discussion of two new Pioneer PBS documentaries about Pieper Bloomquist and Harley Refsal. (Two master artisans with connections to the MVAS). In addition, learn about the capital campaign being launched to secure the future of Karen Jenson’s home for the use and preservation by the Milan Village Arts School.
