Please join us for Beyond the Clock with Nikiko Masumoto! This month’s event will take place on Tuesday, September 19th from 4-5pm CST featuring special guest artist Nikiko Masumoto, with the discussion topic: “Inaka-Queer in the Country.”
In this session, Nikiko will share reflections from “On the Mend,” a year-long project of healing with a former ‘home’ community that wounded her deeply as a queer person and how she co-created a mending process for liberation. She will also share a sneak peek of her upcoming “queering traditions” workshop and excerpts from the zoom baby shower she and her wife hosted, including a mash-up of queer/mixed race family education through games based off The Price is Right!
Event is free: registration required at: https://dopt.rsvp/BTC2023September
