*Marshall: SMSU Music "Voices of the Prairie"

Monday, 1/25, 7:00pm, SCCPA, Marshall: SMSU Chorale and the Choirs from Marshall, Lakeview and Tracy Area High Schools: Voices of the Prairie
Featuring the world premiers of five new pieces for choir composed by Minnesota composers, and based on poetry by students and faculty at SMSU, and Marshall, Lakeview and Tracy Area High Schools, that explore themes related to the lived experiences of people from Lyon County  

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
