Marshall: Local artists exhibit at SMSU

SMSU is hosting an art exhibition entitled “Gold College Art Showcase.” The exhibition is on display in the William Whipple Gallery at SMSU through September 29, 2025. The exhibition includes art created by artists participating in the GOLD College painting classes. The featured image is a painting called “Fall Friends” by Ethel Myers.

The William Whipple Gallery is located in Bellows Academic 291, on the main floor of the McFarland Library at SMSU. Hours for the gallery are the same hours as the library: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-11:00 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Sundays 12:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., and closed holidays.
