KMS Area Welcoming Week at the Kerkhoven Pool Shelter Sunday, Sept. 12  •  3:30-5:30 p.m.  Activities and entertainment include:
  • Face painting
  • Door prizes and giveaways
  • Drawings for T-shirts
  • Sparky the Dog
  • Mexican folk dance performance at 4:30 p.m. by Raices de mi Tierra (Roots of My Country)
Organizations include:
  • Kerkhoven Fire Department with Sparky the Dog

  • Willmar Police Department Explorer Program
  • Swift County Sheriff’s Department
  • Swift County Recycling and Compost

This is an opportunity to celebrate the
values that unite us as neighbors, families and colleagues, and to make our communities more welcoming to all those who call southwest Minnesota home!
Communities around the region are building a sense of belonging during Welcoming Week September 10 – 19.
