*Sunburg: Irish and Scottish Music - Workshop II

Sunburg Community Music is hosting a second workshop on
Irish and Scottish Music on Saturday, February 21, 9-2 at Hope Lutheran Church, 107 Western Ave, Sunburg. MN.  This will focus on preparation for a public performance on March 21 at
4 pm at East Norway Lake Lutheran Church, rural New London.  

Instruction on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, upright bass, Irish
penny whistle, ukulele and singing will be provided.  Participants will learn song/tunes that will
be presented at the March program.  Instructors
include Dempsey Schroeder (fiddle and bass), Maggie Harp (guitar and mandolin),
Sophie Haase (fiddle and guitar), Joyce Rudningen (Uke and singing) and Alissa
Hulstrand (Irish whistle.)  Instruments
are available on loan at no cost.   People of all ages and experience levels are
invited to attend.  Children requiring
supervision must be accompanied by an adult.
