Ridgewater College Gallery (Hutchinson)

Adjacent to Commons, 2 Century Avenue SE, Hutchinson Now through March 21st, 2022: Cottonwood area Lakota artist John Sterner’s new exhibit “Eagle Family Vision Cry”. The exhibit will travel to Willmar and be on view until April 15^th. It features Sterner’s recent INKTOBER drawings that depict different prompts he has turned into personal narratives about his heritage and outlook on life. INKTOBER is an Instagram initiative inviting artists to create an ink drawing each day in the month of October. In addition, on view are translations of these drawings into large oil paintings.

The Ridgewater Fine Art Gallery is located inside the commons, on the Hutchinson Campus. Open 8 to 5 Monday-Friday.  Parking is available for visitors near the entrance. For more information contact Gallery Curator Andrew Nordin at Andrew.nordin@ridgewater.edu.
